I think improper maintenance is the only explanation I can think of that makes any sense to me. If so, though, I'm sure there have been a lot of unhappy customers in 7AB (although this was a while ago, 11/1). I fly this route very frequently, so I'll be sure to avoid booking myself into 7ABC on any flight...
