Agreed but I doubt they are selling too many @ $10,000. If a person bought CP they would either travel so much they that should be eligible for a status match / challenge, don't travel that much and wont be in competition for upgrades, or would have paid for F in the first place and thus "taken away" an upgrade.
In principle I don't like it either but in reality I don't think it devalues the tiers too much. I have a bigger problem with buying up in smaller increments because many more people would take advantage of that!
