Granted, the headline could be a little more specific, but I don't think anyone is trying to minimize the air tragedies that have occurred in other countries.
By not even mentioning them in passing, you end up minimizing them; or worse. Yes, I
know the article is about US airlines, the Ask The Pilot series always is. No excuse for not including a simple sentence stating that, or even just add "US" to the title. Of this tread too.
Everything gets indexed and google-ized. Errors of omission are just as confusing as errors of commission. See: wikipedia
