I flew on 2 A320's today. TPA-DEN (still a mainline flight with mainline aircraft) and then DEN-SFO. Both were A320s. I sat in 1A on both flights.

The first plane had a huge amount of legroom between the seat and the bulkhead and my seat was around mid-way at the 2nd windowshade. It did have the cutout. It was great .. almost like international C without the intl C seat.

The second plane, also had the cutout, but my seat was even with the first windowshade, and I had that much less legroom. (A six+ footer might have been uncomfortable here, like 1A in a 757-200.) I had enough room, but nowhere near the legroom on the first plane.

What's up with that? And which of the two configurations are moving to Ted?
