Absolutely. However, as I mentioned in my previous post, Germany has 13 Hilton's. And very good "local" names are present in these german locations (Kempinski, Dorint, Steigenberger, Maritim, Lindner, Astron, etc.).
The only competition to Hilton from Accor in France is Sofitel (maybe some Pullmann's). The remaining chains are budget (Novotel, Mercure, Ibis, etc.)
There must be another reason. There is room in Paris for more than 1 Hilton group hotel !
