True, they are seperate bookings. But even on seperate bookings, I've still been able to check bags all the way through to LAX before. And we're in CW now for the LHR-LAX segment, so we should be able to use fast-track at LHR, yes? And surely someone from Special Services would be able to show up and help my poor elderly and decrepit wife (and me) from one gate to the next if time got to be a bit tight?
I'm not disagreeing in the slightest that the hotel in London sounds like the best option overal. Just looking at all the options.
