I don't think they would. At least not without you giving the wallet some exercise.
I'm taking it that CPH-LHR and LHR-LAX will be on seperate bookings - in which case a 1 hour connection in LHR is crazy. And let's remember that it's not really a connection at all - at least not when you are having discussions with the staff at LHR as the LAX flight is winging its way West without you! Last time I checked 1 hour is less than the MCT anyway??
It's going to be a case of the hotel I'm thinking.
