We can check-in in FRA, CDG or LHR (more or less the same transfer time and fare from LUX to these 3 cities):

What aircraft would you choose in C with 3 Pax: A380 (LHR), FRA (747) or 777(CDG) ?
If you're using award miles, note that you can't redeem them on A380 and 77W flights. But if you're paying, sure go ahead.

The 747 isn't that bad really! Remember than SQ charges a surcharge if you're flying on the 77W and A380 flights. There is no surcharge -other than fuel surcharges- when flying the 747 and 777-200ER flights with Spacebeds!
