I still find it odd that the Star Alliance site states that so clearly, with no asterisks or qualifier, yet when you scroll way down the page you find

only when they present a ticket or boarding pass for a same-day international flight.
Hey wait a minute, does that mean when I leave on any flight from SEA that I can take the train to the South Satellite and get into the SAS lounge?
