See, I'd be more predisposed to believing that if the kid looked like he needed comforting. He wasn't crying or closing in on himself or anything. When she grabbed him and gathered him up into her lap, he looked more like he was suffering complete and abject humiliation.

And judging by some of the things he had said in the fish bowl to his mother while trying to help us convince her that everything was going to be just fine I think it's less a history of him being sexually abused by an adult male, and more just her thinking that if some guy touches him he'll magically turn gay or something.

Either way, he didn't look amused by his mother's behavior at all. As it stands, the whole thing was just... weird. I felt sorry for the kid.
