Even though I presume that with the handle "renard" you speak French, I'm going to quote from the FAQ on
the English side of the Starbucks France website so the others here can definitely understand it.

A WIFI access is available in every store and is being charged for, to make sure that our Customers enjoy the best Internet experience. However, we are currently improving our installations to offer a faster access for a cheaper price.
HA! It's free in the U.S. and that's definitely the "best experience."
