It seems there is some confusion with the names used for Business Class on EVA Air.
Super Business Class was the old name for their business class product.
Since they eliminated First Class and combined their Super Business and First Class Product they call it Premium Laurel Class (PL) with the introduction of the new (steeply) angled lie flat seats.

I think jimbosmate meant the old Super Business Class not PL class on the upper deck, which is correct as we all know.
I have never seen those combis on any longhaul route anymore, just on short or medium haul flights.
Those combis have the old ED class in the nose which we all liked and miss so much.
