Well, actually ORD probably started doing that after a bunch of us FTers were going from RCC to RCC to RCC at ORD to collect 2 each at each club on the way over to the London Mega Do last November!

Alas, some of us were wearing matching miketown t-shirts & one of the RCCs called ahead to the other RCC to tell them they'd given us chits. Curses - foiled again!

But a few of our gang not wearing the t-shirts did manage to snag some at each club - enough to hold us until we boarded our flights to do more drinking

My last two trips to LAX RCC club I just ask for drink chits - plural - and I've gotten 2 each time. But I've printed out the above re: RCC/ADMIT that's in my stuff to show if I ever am not given any or just 1.

Also, while I normally go non-stop from LAX, the times I've done LAX-ORD-LHR I've been given them at LAX & not told to wait until the gateway.
