"...On other fronts, United said it is planning to put the "first class" back in its first-class domestic service, by adding
hot nuts, hot towels and hot meals on flights longer than 2-1/2 hours, as well as other enhancements throughout 2004. Many of these amenities, once considered de rigeur in first class, were dropped when the carrier declared bankruptcy.
