A couple more I'd forgotten...

..but have been reminded after my Wednesday Night stay in London.

- News channels on the TV in a London hotel, Aljazeera, CNN, A couple other non English language news ones, but no BBC or SKY

- A marble step up into the bathroom just there to stop your toes into as you walk into the bathroom at night in the dark.

- A small bathroom with a door stop right where a man will stand when having a leak, stubbed my toe 3 times

- Towel heaters that don't

- Concierge Notes in the hotel manual that make you wonder if the concierge has ever left the hotel - in the hotel manual on photocopied paper (i.e. easy to update) - spotted listings for British Rail and a restaurant which had been closed for about 2 years.

- Really tiny plates for the breakfast buffet, and miniscule glasses for juice.

- Why do they charge more for certain categories of movies (and then say the movie title won't appear on your bill) - the fact that "those movies" cost an extra £2 will leave no one in any doubt what you were watching!
