I'd rent a car and drive to a ski resort and just soak up the nice scenery, but it may not be enough time for you, and you may not want to rent a car for 6h.

SLC has a good transit system, but there really isn't much to do there given the demographics.

If you'd like to, you could always preach about another deity just for fun, or play an arch-liberal in the streets. That'll give you some jollies, I'm sure. Most entertainment SLC will have for some time. May be doing a service.
