First check with the people you gave the tickets to. Find out what flights they took, in part to make sure they didn't wind up selling the tickets. I'd reply via US Mail and say I gave ticket RR to my BIL. They used them on flights.....for a family vacation to XXX.

You may have an issue if your "friends" are in another state and the flights booked were representative of the kinds of flights a purchaser of RR tickets would be taking.

You should switch to a different reward credit card.
