Sheesh! The arrogance of some here who think their opinion must be accepted as fact by everyone or must otherwise be labeled and dismissed as an airline employee, ignorant, an apologist, a loyalist, a koolaid drinker, a sheeple ripe for the fleecing, etc. is amazing.
Why is so hard to understand that some posters on this board, myself included; with a full understanding of the issues both pro and con, have made an informed decision and are happy with Delta? No airline is perfect for everyone and whether Delta is right for you or not is a mostly subjective decision based on issues that matter most to you. You are entitled to your opinion, but please don't assume that because I don't happen to share it, I or others must be airline employees...and even if I were, what is to be gained by hiding it?
Delta is the largest airline in the world. I fly on their planes often, and empty seats are rare. The fact that a few hundred FTers (and surely hundreds, if not thousands more who don't post here) don't think Delta meets their needs for whatever reason matters most to them, seems rather irrelevant when compared to the hoards that fly Delta everyday.
If Delta doesn't do it for you, fly another airline. You'll feel better.
