Bumping this thread to ask if anyone has more recent experiences.

I'll have a similar (6 hour) layover at SLC in January and want to use the time more profitably by popping into the city and seeing what's there. It looks like a fascinating place.

I particularly appreciated the tip about the organ recitals ^ but are there any other bus or walking tours that FTers recommend?
