I'm sure I'll repeat some of the earlier peeves, but here goes....

Architectural
- Curtains that don't block all the light and have to be taped or sewn together
- Bathroom lights that have to be turned on from outside the bathroom so you have to wake your SO in the middle of the night
- Clock/radios that are impossible to figure out
- Clock/radios that are set to alarm at 3 AM by the property's disgruntled employees
- Rooms with too few or inaccessible power outlets -- especially at the desk and at each bedside
- Telephones with speed dial buttons that aren't programmed to dial the correct extensions for the bellhop, room service, etc. like they are supposed to
- No King beds available at otherwise desirable properties -- Residence Inn, are you listening??
TV
- Fewer channels than Motel 6 in a 3+* property
- TV set does not rotate so as to be viewable from desk
- TV set does not rotate so as to be viewable from bathtub via mirrors
- TV set in bathroom can't be viewed from bathtub
- TV set has noticeable delay when changing channels
- TV remote needs the spare batteries I always carry for this purpose
Business practices:
- Charging my CC for my room, it's already paid for through Priceline
- Charging for ANYTHING I didn't actually purchase or agree to, e.g. bottled water, newspapers, resort fees, minibar charges
- Charging for use of the computer in the business centers/charging for internet
- Excessive room service menu prices
- Excessive mandatory room service service charges
- Excessive mandatory room service service charges AND an extra line for dummies to write in an extra tip
- Excessive mandatory room service service charges AND an extra line for dummies to write in an extra tip AND surly waitpeople who think they are entitled to an extra tip and who are noticeably miffed when they don't get one
- Excessively priced soda machines
- Nonexistent soda machines, you have to pay minibar/room service prices
- Soda machines with nonworking dollar bill acceptors
- Not honoring a King bed reservation, I am tall!
- Parking charges even though hotel is located in an area of town where businesses don't normally charge for parking
- Parking - requiring use of valet
- Parking - charging and/or requiring use of valet even though guest has a handicapped placard and the hotel has handicap spaces out front
In-Room Amenities
- Hotel Book that does not include information on all significant businesses, restaurants, and services in immediate vicinity of the hotel
- Hotel Book or room service menu that is looseleaf and is missing pages, or pages are not consecutively numbered
- In-room printer with obsolete parallel port interface, not USB
