As FT is a self-selected group of people, not randomly selected from the whole DL Skymiles membership, it is not likely to be reflective of the general perception. If it is, it's a coincidence.

It would be interesting to do a true random sampling of all Skymiles account holders and ask the following:

1) How do you feel about Jeff the Knife? (typical reply: Huh?)
2) Do you think the new 3 Tier award calendar is an improvement from the old system? (betcha less than 70% of respondents even know what the heck we're talking about)
3) Do you think DL is doing the right thing by devaluing Skymiles (typical reply: What do you mean devaluing, I'm getting more than ever before and luving it)
4) Do you agree with the statement that most Skymiles account members are sheeple? And that Delta is on a mission to fleece their sheeple? (love to hear the reply to that one).
5) Do you often find free seats to the locations you want to go to, when you want to go to, for Saver levels? And has this changed in your experience over the last 4 years? (bet a large percentage of people will reply "you know, the last 5 years I just haven't been able to find Saver seats for my family of 5 to visit Grandma in Miami/FLL/HNL at Christmes/New Years/Spring Break --- no, it hasn't changed, I've never been able to find a single Saver seat"
