Exactly. I am very hesitant to ask certain "angels" for load info. As much for the confidential part of it, but also for being a pain. I only ask if I'm seriously concerned about NC or whatever, and ask to get an idea. Incidently I don't ask for load figures, I ask "what are the chances" - sometimes I get a figure (ie: "C is booked 24/49 with no NC" or "Y is oversold 312/260" but sometimes it's just "looks good" o "looks iffy" and I am fine with that. And anyway it is only a guide, as things can always (and usually do) change.

Most CSR's though are not supposed to give that info. One agent at SYDRR once told me how oversold my flight was which surprised me. She also insisted there was no way I would get my waitlisted Q seat on it. Well, I did, and wound up in NC. So, it doesn't always help to know!
