I hadn't flown UA since Jan 2002 (LGA-IAD, I believe).

Forgive me for asking here, but I don't fly UA much ,obviously

From what I understand, with the current promos:
- if I fly 2 JFK-LAX r/t's for $216 per, no sat. stay, I earn the free companion ticket and a ticket anywhere UA metal flies
- if I fly one more UA r/t anywhere, I earn a free coach ticket in the lower 48.

Do I understand correctly?
