Who is the operating carrier and is it a mixed carrier itinerary?
And who did you call? The elite line or nwa.com support? Usually the latter has quicker success identifying if there is something hokey with your reservation and may be able to clear it up over the phone.
My ticket is a one way DFW-DTW-PHL all on NW. I tried calling the elite line and nwa.com support and always got different answers. But after 1.5 hours on the phone I just gave up and will hope that this works out at the airport.
But I did get one good result late last night-I tried checking-in again and it still did not let me complete check-in, but it did give me the upgrade on the 1st segment. So that made me a little happier.
