On my return trip, I disembarked at JFK at 600a this (Thursday) morning. I was through immigration/customs and in a taxi by 610a and, notwithstanding moderate traffic, was back at 24th and 6th by 645a.
Last July I was wheels down at 2:30am and in my apartment at 17th & 8th at 3:20am, including a long walk in T4, immigration and customs. Yeah, the guy was driving fast.
