I was there back in the Summer for a 4 day conference and I loved the hotel very much. There wasn't much around the hotel, so you pretty much have to go to Cabo San Lucas to have fun and it is about 30 mins away.

If you get to Cabo San Lucas, you must go to Cabo Wabo. http://www.cabowabocantina.com/.
