I would like to thank those of you who responded with advice rather than rude comments. For those of you with rude comments...get a life. I was just asking for some help and trying to understand what was going on.

For those of you who had questions:
1) The fare was Latitude from the get go
2) I can't change airlines as the company pays and books centrally (at least I don't know how yet)
3) The pilot walked up and said "any seats left" (and yes, I heard the comments as I was standing there). Then the GA changed the ticket without a comment. I did not know what it was for so did not understand what had happened until I got on the plane
4) Feelings of being due the upgrade - so why do they send the certificates out if we are not allowed to use them?

Maybe I am naive and yes, I am a 1st time user of this forum. I am learning and I hope those with positive comments will continue providing support and advice.

For the rest of you being just plain nasty - you are not worth responding to as your comments are not worth the energy
