I had a question about the bus to Santiago from Mendoza. Has anyone taken the overnight bus from Mendoza to Santiago?

While the view and ride are supposed to be fantastic (and would prefer to take the trip in the daytime,) the way my schedule is right now it involves taking the overnight bus to Santiago.

With the stop at the border for customs, is it still okay to take the overnight?
