Being pedantic the security point that used to be just after passport control has been moved to make way for more shops (and no BAA haven't taken over FRAPORT!) and there are now security scanners immediately before the gates - each scanner covers 3 or 4 gates, so you need to go through the right scanner for your departure gate.
