Apologies for bringing up a slightly out of date thread, but I was curious about the status of this.

Some have reported relocated headset jacks in the C seats - has this expanded to a larger percentage of aircraft? Really hoping so, as if it's still tedious to connect my own cables, I won't be able to use the IFE as I cannot use the provided headsets.
