Has anyone any experience yet avoiding the fee when an Elite+ is:

1: Part of a family/group travelling on an award itinerary
2: Part of a family/group but travelling on seperate PNR's (same flight)

It would seem obvious that in both cases the fee(s) should be waived....

Before anyone points it out, I know BA cocked up the second example above and it is often a complete pain in the *ss to get any advanced seat assignment when on seperate PNR's. Just because a competitor has made a b*lls of something doesn't mean AF should feel compelled to follow!
