Why would they give you a card if it is not to carry with you and produce for various benefits. If you can't be bothered, why should they go out of their way. Rules are rules, carry the card. And yes, STARGold is a dime a dozen and another reason why STAR should have a third tier as does oneworld. But we've been there before...
