The *A rules clearly state that you need to present your *G card and same-day boarding pass to enter any *A lounge. They give you the card for a reason. All * Carriers follow the same practice.

I've always been warmly welcomed at all SQ lounges (SFO, SIN, NRT, SYD) with my UA BPs and *G card.
