Thanks for the definitions. Even given that, how do you conclude that one of these was on board and a lie by the GA is the most probable explanation? Sure, it could have happened, but I just don't see it as any more probably than some of the other suggestions.
Extensive observation, knowledge of and experience with staff of all levels at different airlines! Airline employees look out for their own!
