Yep, I was op-upped from Economy to Premium Economy without doing a thing last November flying a Virgin flight on an award ticket, was a gate op-up at the last minute (they'd already started boarding). Thing is that the award ticket was from my brother-in-law's miles, wasn't even my own miles. I'm not even a member of Virgin's FF program (although I think my brother in law has/did have status but he wasn't traveling with me). <g>
