When you fly that much, do you really want to do any more for a TP run? I've always thought they were a bit sad, not to mention unenvironmental... if I've ever been a bit short I've always managed to switch carriers on a trip (often with a bit more expense) in order to get the points/miles.

As for GGL I would probably fiddle future transport plans around in order to make it... if anything for the added bling factor
