The only way to get people to not do this is to call them on it. An attendent has no more right to not be inconvenienced as anyone else. "Needing to get to another flight quickly" is not an excuse.

In ATL in the line down the escalator in the T terminal after the 1st/Gold security gates, airport workers seem to think they have the right to cut the line. I tell them "back of the line."
