Do airlines still give special pricing for people who are attending funerals? It is about 8 years since I asked for such a fare and I belive that the fare (Chicago to Philadelphia) was reduced by about $30 -- not much but better than nothing.

I had to make such an arrangment today but since I found I could fly from Chicago to Pittsburgh for $100 and time was of the essence, I didn't bother trying to get a reduced fare.

When I did it 8 years ago, I had to provide them with the name of the deceased and they wanted to know the name of the funeral home which I didn't know, but they settled for the name of the hospital where the person died.
