The fare rules have recently changed to allow a lower fare to be sold if you're purchasing in any EU country.
I spoke to Trailfinders last week after the change was announced. My enquiry was specifically for an AONE3 out of CMB, before taxes and surcharges etc. When they came back with a fare much higher than the ex BKK fare I knew they were not giving me the correct quote and that is when the "policy" emerged. Maybe it's too much bother for them? Unlike Trailfinders who are normally very good.
