Club lounge

Yes, there is a club lounge on the property. It is small, they offer free non-alcoholic beverages. Outrageous charges for cheap Argentinian wine. Trapiche for something like $US4.50 per copa.

Snacks are more than limited, but it is better than nothing.

When we there in September, we were upgraded to one of the three non-refurbished Presidential Suites. They thought that I was a gold rather than a platinum otherwise I probably would have received one to the new Junior Suites on the same floor as the little bitty lounge. Breakfast was a choice of the lounge or the 3rd floor restaurant. We ate in the restaurant which has an adequate, albeit limited buffet. The thin gray-haired waiter will order made-to-order items from the kitchen for you however. The other waiters appear to be rather lackluster.

BTW: The hotel number is 4321-0000. The outstanding day shift supervisor is Elenora Flores. Not to be sexist, but the female front end employees are IMHO much, much better than their male counterparts. They also provide a cheerful conceirge function as there is no conceirge at this property. Take the time to get to know them and your stay will be much better than perception in the past concerning this property.
