Has anyone had experience with a points+cash stay and getting an upgrade to a suite? Staying there this weekend for a special occasion...

I've had two award stays here and I was upgraded to a suite both times, St. Regis suite (over 900 sf) the first time and Executive suite the second time. C&P is also award stay, so there shouldn't be any difference.
