I have made Executive Platinum on points this year so any points over 100K are wasted AFAIK. I am at 113000 points right now and have a flight on CX PEK - HKG at the end of the week and HKG - YYZ on Tuesday next week both in J. Can I have CX remove my AA number from my ticket so the miles don't post and then, after Jan 1 request credit? Of course, for this to be effective, the credit would have to be to my 2009 miles/points, so that is my second question, will that be the case?
