I seem to remember that for the 2nd year that Chase has an annual fee. Can anyone confirm as well as relate any experiences in getting the fee waived? Is it worth trying - if so, now or after it is billed. Other thoughts?
Depends on the application, they all can vary depending on what marketing put together at that time. You should call customer service and ask. Because of the reward structure, you have a most likely 0% chance of getting the fee waived if you've ever used the card. If you're lucky and have not used the card really in the past year, close it, they may take the fee off for you if it's already billed.
