I've had a Chase United Mileage Plus Visa for about 10 1/2 months now. Signed up in response to one of those mileage bonus offers (I think it was 26000 but not sure).

I seem to remember that for the 2nd year that Chase has an annual fee. Can anyone confirm as well as relate any experiences in getting the fee waived? Is it worth trying - if so, now or after it is billed. Other thoughts?
