Yep. Except I was not nearly that nice about it. At the time all the FA's (well about 6 FA's) were sitting on the floor in a circle in the F galley - 777 - and playing cards. No one had come through in over 2 hours for water or whatever. I believe the words "absolutely and totally unacceptable" were "mentioned" more than once.
And no, I did not eat anything else on that flight.

I did something similar in Y a couple years ago on a FRA-IAD trip. I pushed my call button to get a refresher on my coffe (I know... I know.. that's not what they think the call button is for). I was in no hurry, but I noticed that several FAs trotted up and down the aisle without even stopping to see why my call light was on. After a while, I went back to the galley and mentioned to the 4 FAs hanging out there that my call light had been on for 15 minutes. I calmly explained that it was really not a big deal, but asked them "what if it had been a medical emergency?" They all apologized profusely, got me my cofee and later gave me a bottle of wine to take with me (with more apologies).
I realize that this was not in F, but service is service - no matter what cabin you are in.
