Booking WT+ tickets - price increase closer to departure?

Sorry about the clumsy title - couldn't really think how to word it...

We will be going to LA after Christmas this year (probably the 28th ish), but we don't know what the end of the trip will entail until the end of this month.... We may spend 5/6 days in LA, then fly onto Colorado for a couple of weeks skiing OR we may just spend a couple of weeks in the LA area (maybe including Las Vegas). If we go skiing, we will would look to be in the USA for three weeks and probably fly back from DEN (although no MFU availability at the moment) or IAH/ORD. If we don't go skiing we will just fly back from LAX, but we wont be in the US for more than a couple of weeks I think.

Anyay, we are delaying booking for as long as possible, BUT I was wondering if there is some point where WT+ fares automatically become more expensive: i.e. is there a point in the calendar (4 weeks before departure?) where you can nolonger get T fares and have to buy W fares? Or does it all depend on whether all of the T fares have sold for that specific flight?

I don't want us to decide what we are doing and to find that there are no T fares left because we missed some "28 day advanced purchase" window for T fares or something...
