Just stayed a week in Chicago, moved around a bit, Hilton Garden has a great free (gold/diamond of course) breakfast at the Weber Grill, ES Lakefront, ask for a "34" room they have the best views; 17 is the top floor. Very modern looking hotel much more contemporary than the ES Downtown. However the ES Downtown and HG are right on the red line; Lakefront is a 6 block walk. From ORD take Blue line to Jackson walk underground 1 block to the Red line north 3 stops (Grand) only $2.00.
