Thanks everyone! Now for a philosophical question. One of the reasons we are considering India now as opposed to in the future when we may have > 2 weeks to spend is: children. we dont have any now. My wife, who's parents were born in India, feels that if we don't go now, while we are without kids, we won't be able to go for 20 years--once any potential offspring are grown. Even though she went to India as a child with her parents, she doesn't feel comfortable with the idea of bringing our future kids to India (she is a Pediatrician). Please weigh in on this issue, if you are able. My feeling is that we should take a vacation someplace like NewZealand now, and bring future kids to India when we can spend > 2 wks and they can appreciate their mother's heritage and the experience of traveling to India. Isn't it OK to bring kids to India? Would we not make better use of all of our points by going someplace where Hilton reigns supreme? Let me know your thoughts. As always, I appreciate the awesome resource known ad Flyertalk...
