This is one of the MANY reasons MrsDallas49er doesn't travel with me anymore (or any less).

Life is a series of choices.

Having been s*****d by a combination of weather and BAA on 4 out 3 of my last 3 opportunites to transit LHR, my choice will always be to be angst free and un-buggered.

Reading many very positive comments about some of the LHR oneworld lounges, a "lounge crawl" is just another option.

OBTW-For me, building in a long layover is a LHR only strategy.
