Sat next to Dame Helen Mirren on an AA flight from LAX - HNL on 10 November.
We talked a little. I helped her to get her bag from the overhead bin; chatted about how about Mimosa sounds better than it's English name.

I noticed on her form that she's staying in HNL for 30 days. Must be filming her next film.

She sounds awfully posh but pretty down to earth. Very pleasant lady.

The flight was on a 767 so had the new business class seats. I wonder what she would have thought if it was a 757 with the old seats. She wouldn't be too happy like me on the night time return flight.

Oh and the cabin crew thought I was her PA as we both spoke with an English accent and we sitting together!
